In this article, we will have a look at how you need to sign your company documents, to avoid the company documents being rejected by Company Registry.

I). Company Registration Form (Form CR1) – all the director(s) will need to sign their respective column, where it is indicated “signature”. As for the eCitizen account holder (one of the director), he or she will need to sign on the last page under the section “Form Completed By”.

II). Memorandum For A Company With Share Capital (Form CR2) – all company director(s) need to sign next to their respective names, under the “Signature of subscriber” column. At the end of the form, On the last page of this document, the eCitizen account holder (one of the director), will need to sign on the long line which is next to the date.

III) Notice of Residential Address (Form CR8) – the eCitizen account holder (one of the director) will need to sign where it is indicated “Signature”.

IV). Statement of Nominal Capital (The Stamp Duty Act – CAP 480) – the eCitizen account holder (one of the director) will need to sign where it is indicated “Signature”. IMPORTANT! On the section where it is indicated “Description”, please write the word “DIRECTOR” on the dotted line.
